Lovis Lift

Connecting Students. Strengthening Nonprofits. Expanding Impact.

Young people have ideas, talents, and a desire to make a difference. LovisLift connects high school students with nonprofits through meaningful virtual volunteer projects, creating opportunities to contribute while supporting the organizations that serve our communities.

Our Current Pilot

LovisLift is currently in its second pilot, connecting high school students from participating school districts with nonprofits
in the Columbia, South Carolina area.

More Than Volunteer Hours

Having the chance to contribute can change how a young person sees themselves and their place in the world. LovisLift removes transportation barriers through virtual volunteering, helping students connect with a cause they care about and experience the value of their contributions.

What We Lift Together

Student Potential

Students explore their interests, use their strengths, and build skills through work that makes a difference.

Nonprofit Impact

Nonprofits connect with young people who bring fresh ideas, creativity, and support for meaningful projects.

Community Connection

Working toward a shared purpose builds relationships and helps young people see how their contributions matter.

How It Works

Share your interests or your project

Students tell us what they enjoy and hope to learn. Nonprofits describe a project and the support they need.

Find a meaningful match

Lovis connects students and nonprofits based on interests, strengths, and project needs.

Start with a clear plan

Students and nonprofit partners establish the project goals, expectations, timeline, and how they will stay connected.

Contribute and grow

Students complete their projects virtually, gaining experience while helping their nonprofit partners move their work forward.

Bring Your Strengths. Lift Your Community.

Whether you’re a student ready to contribute or a nonprofit with a project in mind, we’d love to hear from you.
