Dramakinetics
Funding scholarships and theater supplies for youth who love the performing arts
Dramakinetics is an instructional method that uses performing arts (drama, dance, and music) to enable people of all abilities to express themselves creatively, build confidence and learn new skills using their bodies, voices and imagination. In 2011, Logan joined Dramakinetics and learned to never let fear stop him from stepping onto the stage. He was a star in everything he did and an inspiring performer.
When you donate to the Lovis Foundation, a portion of your contribution will go to a fund created by Dramakinetics in memory of Logan; the Logan Brinson Star Fund, providing scholarships and theater supplies for youth in Cincinnati, who need financial help in order to be a Star.
The Lovis Foundation sponsors children to attend Dramakinetics summer camp or a 10-week program of drama, dance and music.
The ETA Rising Star Award
Sponsor a young Elvis Tribute Artist who is interested in competing and being a professional tribute artist.
The Lovis Foundation is excited to announce the first annual ETA Rising Star Award for young Elvis tribute artists. Our inspiration, Logan, was a 19 year old Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) when he passed away.
Tribute artists can compete in judged competitions throughout the year with the goal of winning the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest, sponsored by Elvis Presley Enterprises. The ETA Rising Star Award provides a monetary award for 16-23 year olds who love the King of Rock and Roll and want to continue inspiring others with his music. It also provides a $1000 discount coupon off a $2500 jumpsuit from B&K. After all, the right outfit gives you confidence!
Interested applicants provide an essay explaining why they want to be a tribute artist and a video of themselves singing, “Amazing Grace.” The selection committee includes representation from B&K and the Lovis Foundation. Your donation gives us the ability to help these young people fulfill their dream .. and takes some of the financial burden off the parents!
Our 2018 Winners are Brody Finlay, 21, from Australia and Ryan Williams, 18, from Lincoln, Illinois.
Our 2020 Winner is Matt Stone,16, from West Palm Beach, Florida.
