Save the Date for LovisFrost 2019

LovisFrost is a winter dance for differently-abled young people held in Cincinnati, Ohio. (While we believe in inclusion for all, we also believe that everyone deserves opportunities to be with others who have similar interests and abilities.)

The event will be held at the Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum on Eastern Avenue in Cincinnati on December 6, 2018 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Young people ages 15-22 with Individual Education Plans provided by local school districts will be invited to attend this accessible event. The Lovis Foundation has partnered with school personnel who have combined 120 years of experience in Ohio Education with 96 combined years of experience in Special Education to provide this unique event to the community.

“The venue was beautiful. The music selection was fun to dance along to and, the volunteers made it possible for the parents to go out and enjoy a couple of hours knowing that our children were having fun!”

LovisFrost is a Winter wonderland with music, dancing, giveaways, food and drinks for 100 young people and approximately 70 caregivers. Over twenty adult volunteers provide a safe, supervised disability-appropriate event. Additional high school student volunteers assist by keeping the dance floor hopping and the young people engaged.

“We thought it was perfect. My son was very comfortable and had a great time. Thanks so much for doing this!!!!!”

Electronic Invitations and print flyers are sent to school districts in the greater Cincinnati area. Students RSVP for the free tickets on Eventbrite. LovisFrost is also promoted via social media and on the Lovis Foundation website.

LovisFrost includes students from Hamilton, Clermont and Bulter County. Check out the highlights from our 2018 LovisFrost!
